Rob Fabrie aka DJ Waxweazle (born November 9, 1971 ) is a Dutch DJ and producer of the genres Hardcore Techno and Happy Hardcore .

His career began when he started producing techno tracks with his friend Richard van Naamen . In 1990 he worked in the club "Midtown" in Rotterdam and in the same year gave some demo productions to Paul Elstak , who made music in the same genre. With a view to their mutual potential, Rob Fabrie, Richard van Naamen and Paul Elstak founded “Holy Noise”. In this formation, for example, the hit singles "James Brown is still alive" (as an answer to LA Style's "James Brown Is Dead") and "The Nightmare" were not long in coming.

After a few compilations , "Holy Noise" decided to split. Paul Elstak continued to produce his own records as DJ Paul. Rob Fabrie increased his profile through several solo projects for international labels such as Terror Trax or Dance International. After many successful tracks he is booked by many promoters as a DJ every week and ID&T offered him his own label "Waxweazle Vinyl". At this point he had used the name "DJ Waxweazle" for himself several times, so he named his label accordingly. Since then he has been running his own studio in Rotterdam.

Since 1998 Fabrie has been using the pseudonym Headbanger almost exclusively and mainly produces mainstyle . His biggest hit so far: Headbanger Theme (2000).
