Robby Dannenberg (writer)

Robby Dannenberg , (* 1974 in Leipzig ) is a German writer and screenwriter.

Life

Dannenberg studied communication science, psychology and philosophy. From 1995 he studied at the German Literature Institute in his hometown, which he 2000 with the diploma graduated the institute. In the meantime he won the 1997 “open mike” competition of the Berlin Literature Workshop and received a. a. 1999 a scholarship from the Frankfurt Authors' Foundation . At times he lived and worked with Anke Stelling . In 2003 he and Anke Stelling received the lessing award from the Free State of Saxony . In 2004 the novel Gisela , written with Anke Stelling, was filmed. From 2004 to 2006 he attended the Screenwriting Academy of the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb). He wrote scripts for various feature and short films.

Dannenberg lives and works in Berlin and Brandenburg .
