ROBERT-Reisen is a bus company in the municipality of Thalfang in the district of Bernkastel-Wittlich , which offers regular services with its own license in the Trier region as well as bus trips.
history
The company was founded in 1932 after the Great Depression. At that time the company operated the bus connection Heidenburg - Trier . Only after the Second World War did the company start rush- hour traffic to Saarland in 1949 . In the course of the following developments, however, the number of buses used fell from eight to just two. From the 1980s onwards, as part of the general increase in travel, bus tourism began .
Operating areas
The line from Heidenburg to Trier , which has existed since 1949 , will continue to be operated by ROBERT-Reisen , extended to Thalfang (partly to Erbeskopf ).
Group tours and day trips are also regularly offered, especially to the holiday areas of Europe. There are also some domestic German travel destinations and the possibility of bus rental.
Vehicle fleet
The fleet consists of two line vehicles, a Setra S 315 UL and a Setra S 415 UL . Both cars are used exclusively on the line from Heidenburg to Trier and back. There are also two minibuses, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter CDI and a Mercedes-Benz O 818 Destino , also for use in regular service. There are also two Mercedes-Benz Travego in the fleet.
