Robert John "Bobby" Benson (born May 18, 1894 in Davidson , Saskatchewan , † September 7, 1965 in Winnipeg ) was a Canadian ice hockey player . He played in the left back position.
At the Olympic Summer Games in Antwerp in 1920 he won the gold medal in the Olympic ice hockey tournament with the Canadian national team , which was made up of players from the Winnipeg Falcons . In the same year he also won the Allan Cup with the Falcons . In the NHL he played in the 1924/25 season for the Boston Bruins .
