Robert Chambers (physicist)

Robert G. Chambers ( 1924 - December 17, 2016 ) was a British physicist . He was a professor at the University of Bristol .

Chamber was awarded the Hughes Medal of the Royal Society in 1994 for his numerous contributions in the field of solid state physics , especially for an experiment from 1960 that demonstrated the Aharonov-Bohm effect . In 1969 he became a Fellow of the American Physical Society .
