Francisco de Assis Dantas de Lucena
Francisco de Assis Dantas de Lucena (born October 19, 1963 in Jardim do Seridó ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Nazaré .
Life
The Bishop of Caicó , Heitor de Araújo Sales , ordained him a priest on July 21, 1991 .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on May 28, 2008 Bishop of Guarabira . The old archbishop of Natal , Heitor de Araújo Sales, donated him episcopal ordination on August 17th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Manoel Delson Pedreira da Cruz OFMCap , Bishop of Caicó, and Jaime Vieira Rocha , Bishop of Campina Grande . As a motto he chose LUX VESTRA LUCEAT . The inauguration took place on August 31 of the same year.
On July 13, 2016, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Nazaré.
