The Diocese of Guarabira ( Latin Dioecesis Guarabirensis ) is in Brazil located Roman Catholic diocese based in Guarabira in the state of Paraíba .

history

The diocese of Guarabira was established on October 11, 1980 by Pope John Paul II from cession of territory to the Archdiocese of Paraíba and subordinated to this as a suffragan diocese.
