Robert Charroux

Robert Charroux , actually Robert Grugeau (born April 7, 1909 in Payroux , Vienne , † June 24, 1978 in Vienne , Isère ) was a French writer. He was one of the first to deal with the para-scientific theory of pre-astronautics .

biography

Charroux, originally employed by the French post office, turned full-time to writing in the 1940s. For example, he wrote the lyrics for the French comic series Atomas , which appeared in the weekly Mon Journal in the late 1940s . He also wrote science fiction stories for this magazine , which were published in series.

Charroux is considered a pioneer in the field of pre-astronautics. In a number of non-fiction books he dealt with the question of whether and when the earth had already been visited by aliens.
