Angela Grosse

Angela Grosse (born May 29, 1955 in Hamburg ) is a former politician (SPD) and was a member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life

After passing his Abitur in 1974, Grosse studied biology and sport to become a teacher. In 1982 she passed the first and in 1985 the second state examination at the University of Hamburg . From 1990 to 1992 she was trained as a residential and environmental consultant via distance learning .

From 1991 to 1993 she worked as managing director of the Association for the Promotion of Renewable Energies in Northern Germany .

She is married and has two children.

On September 19, 1993, Angela Grosse was elected to the 15th electoral term of the Hamburg citizenship , a coalition-like alliance made up of the SPD and the Statt Party . From January 1994 she was a member of the Social Democratic parliamentary group. In January 1994 she also followed Christa Randzio-Plath as chairwoman of the Working Group of Social Democratic Women (AsF); an office that she held in 1996.

Her areas of responsibility in the parliamentary group were women's, sports and agricultural policy. She sat on the Economic Committee and the Committee on Youth and Sport.

On January 12, 1995, she resigned from her citizenship mandate - “for purely private reasons”.

Candidate for the 1994 federal election

In February 1994 she was elected to the SPD state list for the 1994 federal election by the Hamburg delegates and placed in 8th place, but this was ultimately not enough for a Bundestag mandate.
