Robert Colnago

Robert Colnago (* 1935 in Vienna ; † August 4, 2019 ) was an Austrian painter, sculptor and graphic artist who worked in Perchtoldsdorf near Vienna.

Colnago studied at the Höhere Graphische Bundes-Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt in Vienna. Since 1971 he has worked as a freelance painter, graphic artist and object artist. As an educator, he led various courses and seminars.

He showed his works in solo exhibitions as well as in collective exhibitions at home and abroad. a. in Germany , Holland , Switzerland , Bahrain , Egypt and Saudi Arabia .

On September 30, 2007, the sculpture “Angel Fall” by Robert Colnago was unveiled at the Spitalkirche in Perchtoldsdorf.

His great-grandfather Carl Teibler and his grandfather Georg Teibler were painters who worked in Vienna and Perchtoldsdorf .
