Robert Dill (born October 18, 1982 in Isernhagen ) is a former German basketball player . He played 49 games in the basketball league for the BG Göttingen .

Career

Robert Dill first played at CVJM Hannover and then went to the USA for his studies, where he was active for the Lafayette Leopards of Lafayette College in Pennsylvania. He began his professional career in 2004 with TV Langen in the 2nd Bundesliga, before moving to Weiden (also 2nd division). In 2006/07 he started the season at TSV Nördlingen before moving to Göttingen in November 2006 and being promoted to the basketball league with the violets . He played for Göttingen in the Bundesliga until the end of the 2008/09 season. For the 2009/2010 season he ended his active career for the time being, partly due to the workload, before joining the second Göttingen team in the regional league during the current season.

Dill was part of the German A2 national team.
