Robert Gliński
Robert Ignacy Gliński (born April 17, 1952 in Warsaw ) is a Polish film director and rector of the Łódź Film School .
Gliński studied architecture in Warsaw before going to the Łódź Film School to study directing. Since graduating from the film school in 1979, he has worked as a director for film, television and theater, making both documentaries and feature films . His greatest successes were in 2001 Cześć Tereska , with which he won the Polish Festival in Gdynia and the Polish Film Prize in the category of best director , and in 2005 prophecies of doom - time of reconciliation , a film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Günter Grass .
