Robert Haselberger

Robert Haselberger (born March 28, 1884 in Aichach , † September 29, 1959 in Augsburg ) was a German meat manufacturer.

Career

Haselberger was born as the son of the meat product manufacturer Josef Haselberger and Anna Haselberger, née. Beck, born. After attending elementary school, he switched to the commercial school in Augsburg, which he graduated with a one-year certificate. He then worked in various positions and undertook extensive trips through Europe and overseas.

On his return he took over the Josef Haselberger meat and canning factory in Aichach from his father , which he developed into one of the leading companies in the Bavarian meat industry.

From 1914 to 1927 he was a member of the city council of Aichach and was elected mayor there on January 1, 1930. He was a member of the Munich Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 2nd chairman of the Association of Bavarian Meat Manufacturers and a committee member of the Reich Association of the German Meat Industry.
