Robert Kiesel (born September 11, 1951 in Reiterswiesen ) is a Bavarian politician ( CSU ) and former member of the Bavarian State Parliament .

education and profession

After primary school, Robert Kiesel trained as a farmer. He attended the agricultural college and passed the master craftsman examination. Then he worked as a self-employed farmer in an arable farm.

Robert Kiesel is Roman Catholic, married and has two children.

politics

Robert Kiesel has been a member of the CSU since 1974 and has been district chairman and deputy state chairman of the CSU working group on agriculture in his party since 1991. He has been district chairman of the CSU since 2003 and was a district councilor in the Bad Kissingen district from 1990–1991 and since 1996 .

From May 16, 1990 to 2013, Robert Kiesel was a member of the state parliament. In the state parliament he is a member of the State Budget and Financial Affairs Committee. He represented the Bad Kissingen constituency ( Lower Franconia constituency ) in the state parliament. After Kiesel's voluntary resignation from the state parliament, Sandro Kirchner became his successor.

Other offices

From 1983 to 2007 Robert Kiesel was chairman of the producer group for quality rapeseed and vegetable products in Lower Franconia. V. (Rapeseed Producers Association Lower Franconia). He is chairman of the supervisory board of Campa AG and member of the board of directors of Sparkasse Bad Kissingen . Kiesel is an advisory board member in the association "Our Rhön - strong together".
