Sandro Kirchner (born July 31, 1975 in Bad Kissingen ) is a German politician ( CSU ).

Career

Kirchner studied electrical engineering at a university of applied sciences and graduated as a graduate engineer.

He began his political career in the Junge Union in the 1990s . From 2003 to 2011 he was district chairman of the Junge Union in the Bad Kissingen district. From 2002 to 2012 he was chairman of the CSU local association in his place of residence Burkardroth , and since 2007 he has been deputy chairman of the CSU district association in Bad Kissingen. In the local elections in 2002, he moved into the municipal council of Burkardroth and the Kissinger district council. Since 2008 he has been the second mayor of Burkardroth.

After Robert Kiesel renounced a renewed candidacy for the state parliament , Kirchner was elected as his successor as a direct candidate in the constituency of Bad Kissingen in the state elections in 2013 . On September 15, 2013, he secured entry into the state parliament. In 2018, his mandate as a member of the CSU state parliament was confirmed. Kirchner is also chairman of the committee for economy, regional development, energy, media and digitization.
