history

Allerthal-Werke AG shares in excess of RM 1000 in September 1941

The farmer Heinrich Markgraf founded the brewery Allerthal A.-G. in Grasleben in Brunswick in 1899. The first beer was already released at Christmas 1900. The first chairman of the supervisory board was Karl von Davier . After the First World War , the company looked for a second mainstay due to the strong competition from Braunschweig and Magdeburg . The company started the production of rubber items such as soles and heels, solid tires and raincoats. In 1921 the company name was changed to Allerthal-Werke A.-G., Grasleben . During the Second World War , the company also employed slave labor; she has joined the foundation “Remembrance, Responsibility and Future” .

With the division of Germany after the Second World War, the brewery lost most of its sales area. Rubber production lost many of the skilled workers now living in the Eastern Zone .

Beer production had to be stopped in 1949. The customers were taken over by Hofbrauhaus Wolters GmbH , so that the production of rubber products formed the company's object. In the 1990s, the production of hoses for the automotive industry was the focus of the business.

Realignment

In 1994 the PARZIVAL group of companies participated in the company. It broke away from its classic operational business to a pure investment holding company. She describes her business model as follows: “She is looking for undervalued companies on the German stock market. It does not focus on specific industries or company sizes. Rather, the focus is on undervalued, listed German stock corporations, preferably from the small cap sector, which are in a special situation. ”In 2009, the company's headquarters were relocated to Cologne.
