Karl von Davier

August Karl Rudolf von Davier (born July 13, 1853 in Neeken , † January 8, 1936 in Seggerde ) was a Prussian politician.

Davier was district administrator of Znin from 1887 to 1894 , then from 1894 to 1897 district administrator of Gardelegen . After retiring from civil service, he devoted himself to the management of the Seggerde manor . He also owned goods in Weferlingen and Hasselburg (Flechtingen) . He inherited the aforementioned goods in 1895 from his uncle Eduard Wiprecht von Davier , who in turn inherited them from the widow of Werner Friedrich Julius Stephan von Spiegel . As a member of the executive board and supervisory board of the Weferlingen sugar factory co-founded by Wilhelm Suder, of the Allerthal works in Grasleben and as chairman of the supervisory board of the electrical overland center in Weferlingen und Umgebung e.GmbH, he sustainably promoted the region's economic development. "

In a by-election on November 28, 1902, he was elected in the constituency of Magdeburg 1 (Salzwedel - Gardelegen) as a candidate for the Conservative Party in the Prussian House of Representatives, to which he belonged until 1913.

He was chamberlain to the Prussian king.
