The Viennese Waltz Orchestra (English: Vienna Walzer Orchestra) is an in Vienna stationed chamber orchestra that specializes in traditional waltzes , polkas , marches specialized and operetta arias. The orchestra mainly plays works by J. Strauss (son) , Franz Lehár , CM Ziehrer . Ballet dancers and opera singers also perform at each concert.

The Vienna Waltz Orchestra was founded in 1990 by Sandro Cuturello and consists of musicians of different nationalities. Cuturello acts as artistic director and chief conductor of the orchestra.

The orchestra's venues include the Wiener Musikverein , the Wiener Konzerthaus , the Seoul Arts Center ( South Korea ), as well as venues in China (including Beijing and Shanghai ), Italy , Spain , Germany and the Czech Republic . The orchestra has also performed annually in Japan since 2000 . These "New Years Concerts" take place at Tokyo Opera City , Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space, Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall, The Symphony Hall ( Osaka ) and other venues.
