Robert Löffler (politician)

Robert Löffler (born September 4, 1930 in Wullersdorf , Lower Austria ; † December 8, 1989 in Hollabrunn ) was an Austrian functionary and politician ( ÖVP ).

Life

Robert Löffler attended the Realgymnasium in Horn and after graduating in 1948 studied economics at the University of World Trade in Vienna. He was an original member of the Catholic student union K.Ö.HV Franco Bavaria Vienna in the ÖCV .

Löffler initially worked in an accountancy firm and in 1957 switched to the Chamber of Commerce for Lower Austria as a consultant. In 1960 he became district secretary in Hollabrunn and in 1971 managing director of the industry section.

Robert Löffler was city ​​councilor for the municipality of Hollabrunn from 1965 to 1968 and became mayor of the municipality of Hollabrunn in 1969 .

He was a member of the Austrian Federal Council from November 13, 1975 to June 4, 1979. He was a member of the Austrian National Council (XV. – XVII. GP) from June 5, 1979 to February 28, 1989.
