Robert Lück (born June 30, 1851 in Mühlhofe near Valbert ; † June 17, 1930 in Berlin ) was a German high school teacher and founding director of the Berlin high school in Steglitz .

Lück, son of a landowner, graduated from high school in Soest in 1872 and studied classical philology, Ev. Religion and history until 1877. He received his doctorate in 1878. He completed his probationary year in Salzwedel . He founded the Steglitz grammar school in 1886 and headed it until 1919. He was considered a member of the Protestant church. During his time in 1896, the Wandervogels was founded , which he initially rejected because he z. B. considered the author Friedrich Nietzsche harmful. This is precisely what made it, according to the student Hans Blüher, a much-read reading in the early Wandervogel. Lück's agreement with the teacher Karl Fischer , which was contrary to school law , that the student association's hikes (from 1901) would also take place “without the teacher being accompanied” was the cornerstone of an autonomous youth movement .
