Robert Latte

Robert Latte (* 20th century ) is a former German hockey player.

Life

Robert Latte comes from Mülheim an der Ruhr . Since he was enthusiastic about hockey from a young age, he became a member of the renowned hockey club HTC Uhlenhorst Mülheim , which in the 1950s was one of the leading German hockey clubs in hockey. Robert Latte's performance was so good that he was soon one of the regular players in the first men's team at HTC Uhlenhorst. With his club he was three times German champion in men's field hockey; the first time this happened in 1950. Two more championship titles followed in 1954 and 1955.

After the HTC Uhlenhorst won the German championship in field hockey in 1955 with the cast of Robert Latte, Heinz-Werner Bäcker , Heinz Schmidt , Helmut Nonn , Jochen Lehmann , Rolf Schmidt , Heinz Langmann , Herbert Mohr , Wolfgang Nonn , Günter Oelert , Willi Bruckmann and Horst Beier won for the third time, Federal President Theodor Heuss took this as an opportunity to award the entire team the silver laurel leaf in October 1955.
