Robert Lefèvre (politician)

Robert Lefèvre (born July 9, 1843 , † May 14, 1905 in Friedenau ) was a German local politician with the rank of secret chancellery. He was one of the first residents of the rural community of Friedenau, which was established in 1871 . As a member of the house and landowners' association, he was a member of the community council from 1885 to 1887, 1891–1892 and 1900–1902, and from 1900 also on the community council. In the community council, he managed the area of ​​poor affairs and was a member of the orphan council .

Lefèvre founded a church building association in 1887 in order to build his own church for Friedenau, which was inaugurated in 1893 on Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz . In 1901 he was a member of the board of trustees for the construction of the Friedenau high school , which was inaugurated in 1903.

His grave is in Berlin on the Friedenauer Friedhof Stubenrauchstrasse . The Friedenauer Lefèvrestrasse has been named in his honor since May 25, 1905.
