Robert Lefèvre (politician)
Robert Lefèvre (born July 9, 1843 , † May 14, 1905 in Friedenau ) was a German local politician with the rank of secret chancellery. He was one of the first residents of the rural community of Friedenau, which was established in 1871 . As a member of the house and landowners' association, he was a member of the community council from 1885 to 1887, 1891–1892 and 1900–1902, and from 1900 also on the community council. In the community council, he managed the area of poor affairs and was a member of the orphan council .
Lefèvre founded a church building association in 1887 in order to build his own church for Friedenau, which was inaugurated in 1893 on Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz . In 1901 he was a member of the board of trustees for the construction of the Friedenau high school , which was inaugurated in 1903.
His grave is in Berlin on the Friedenauer Friedhof Stubenrauchstrasse . The Friedenauer Lefèvrestrasse has been named in his honor since May 25, 1905.
