Robert Pasche

Robert Julius Pasche (born January 8, 1862 in Zielitz , † April 2, 1930 in Naumburg (Saale) ) was a Protestant clergyman.

Life

Pasche was born as the son of the Zielitz restaurateur Christoph Pasche . He went to school in the Frankesche Stiftungen in Halle (Saale) and then studied theology at the University of Halle from 1881 to 1884 . After exams in Halle and Magdeburg in 1885 and 1886 , he was ordained in Magdeburg in 1886 .

From 1885 he worked in Woffleben, initially as an assistant preacher and from 1886 as a pastor. In 1892 he became pastor at the St. Anna Church in Dieskau . In the same year 1919 he also took over the office of superintendent of the Halle-Land I ephoria .

As early as 1892, at his instigation, the Hallesche Pfarrverein was founded and he was chairman for many years. From 1910 he was chairman of the Association of Prussian Parish Associations . Pasche was one of the co-founders of the Parish Daughters Foundation and the Parish Daughters' Home in Gröbers .

There was close cooperation between him and the theological faculty of the University of Halle. So he arranged working groups between pastors and the faculty. The offer of theological vacation courses there also went back to him. In 1918 the theological faculty of the University of Halle awarded him an honorary doctorate.

Pasche retired in 1927 and moved to Naumburg.
