Robert Rauch

Robert Rauch (* 1958 in Lauingen (Danube) ) is a German mountaineer and author from Mittenwald .

Life

Rauch began climbing in the Karwendel when he was twelve . His biography Daring, Dynamic, Unsuccessful , published in 1996, was his first literary activity.

Bolivian Andes
  • First ascent of the Deliver Me route on the Illimani south face together with Florian Hill , difficulty: VI, WI6, M6 +, E5, wall height approx. 1700 m.
  • First ascent of the Chamaka route on the Serkhe Khollu southwest face together with Florian Hill and Stefan Berger in alpine style. Difficulty: VII, WI5, M5, E5, wall height 550 m.
