Robert "Robe" Redl (born November 7, 1950 in Stuttgart ; † May 27, 2016 ) was a German football player .
Career
Redl started playing soccer in the youth team at VfL Herrenberg, via the youth team in the Stuttgarter Kickers , and made the jump to the second team of the Kickers. On April 4, 1970 he made his professional debut in the away game at FSV Frankfurt . From then on he was active for the traditional Stuttgart club for seven years and played 134 games. After his time with the Kickers, the native Herrenberger played for SV Böblingen .
