Robert Rehan
Robert Rehan (born March 13, 1901 in Kiel ; † 1988 ) was a German composer , violinist and pianist .
Life
Robert Rehan studied in Berlin in the master class of Hans Pfitzner . He was in charge of editing some of his teacher's works, including a. the Eichendorff cantata Von deutscher Seele (op. 28; 1921), and he added Pfitzner's unfinished setting of the original words. Orphic (originally planned as a commission for the Goethe year 1949, on the initiative of Weimar General Music Director Hermann Abendroth ).
Robert Rehan last lived in Munich. His grave is in the Haidhausen cemetery .
