Robert Roth (Deacon)

Robert Roth (* 1963 in Stutensee-Friedrichstal ) is a German Roman Catholic graduate theologian and deacon.

Live and act

Roth grew up in Graben-Neudorf and attended the Kopernikus Gymnasium in Philippsburg . After graduating from high school, he studied Catholic theology at the University of Freiburg and in Granada (Spain). He did community service in the elderly care of the Katharinenstift Freiburg old people's home.

After graduating as a graduate theologian , he worked as a pastoral consultant in Weil am Rhein , Hausach , in the St. Pirmin seminary and as a school pastoralist at the Lender home school (Sasbach near Achern). This was followed by assignments in the parish of St. Ulrich, Nordrach and the pastoral care unit in Zell am Harmersbach .

Since September 2007 Roth has been a consultant for religious and foreign priests in the Archbishopric of Freiburg. In November 2010 he was ordained a deacon by Archbishop Robert Zollitsch in Freiburg Minster . He was Archbishop's Secretary to Archbishop Stephan Burger from 2014 to 2017 .

Robert Roth is married and has one son.
