Robert Schimrigk

Robert Schimrigk (* 1904 , † 1976 ) was a German psychiatrist and medical professional politician .

Live and act

Robert Schimrigk studied medicine in Münster (Westphalia) and was awarded a doctorate there in 1933. med. PhD. After further training as a psychiatrist, he worked in Dortmund.

1967/1968 he was President of the German Society for Psychiatry and Neurology

Schimrigk was President of the Westphalia-Lippe Medical Association from 1955 to 1973 and a member of the board of the German Medical Association . In 1969 he was a reporter at the German Medical Association on the revision of the professional code for German doctors .
