Robert Schlosser

Robert Schlosser (* 1953 in Memmingen ) is a German artist .

Through his father, who was himself a painter and art teacher in Memmingen, he came to art at an early age . After graduating from Bernhard-Strigel Gymnasium , Robert Schlosser studied from 1973 to 1978 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich near Sauerbruch. He then moved to Hamburg , where he still lives today with his wife and daughter.

As an artist, he mainly works on pictures on paper and canvas in mixed media (emulsion of linseed oil and acrylic binder, pigments; colored pencils and watercolor or tempera paints) and prints, mainly woodcuts. Many of his works were sold to banks and clinics. Hundreds of works went to private buyers. The largest solo exhibition to date was on the Memminger Meile 2007 in the baroque Kreuzherrenkloster Memmingen .
