Robert Schmucker (born August 18, 1943 in Eger ) teaches as an adjunct professor at the Technical University of Munich at the chair for space technology based in Garching .

Life

Schmucker is an internationally recognized rocket expert . His areas of expertise include a. “Remote weapons in developing countries” and the topic “Use and commercialization of space travel”. From 1995 to 1998, Schmucker was a member of the UN inspection team in Iraq . The Munich company that he founded, Schmucker Technologie, also advises NATO on missile issues .

On October 27, 2004, in an interview with Deutschlandfunk , Schmucker stated that Iran should certainly pursue the goal of acquiring nuclear weapons. On November 25, 2004, he repeated in an interview with Spiegel-online that Iranian missile technology suggests that Iran intends to produce nuclear weapons .
