Robert Smith (show jumper)
Robert Smith (born June 12, 1961 in Yorkshire ) is a British show jumper and horse dealer.
Career
With the Olympic Games 2004 in Athens took Smith with Mr Springfield in the individual ranking fourth. He has already represented his country in over 80 Nations Cups and has topped the BSJA rankings for three consecutive years. In 2005 and 2006 he won the British Open on Kalusha . He was also victorious in numerous World Cup qualifications, Grand Prix and Puissance competitions. In 2009 he was British champion with Vangelis S and third in the Hickstead Derby . When Derby in Hamburg Klein Flottbek 2010 he erritt with Ragina Bull Vangelis S fifth.
Private
Smith lives in Warwickshire . He is the son of the former top jumper Harvey Smith and brother of the former show jumper Steven Smith .
