Robert Walden

Robert Walden (* 25. September 1943 in New York City , New York as Robert Wolkowitz ) is an American actor .

Life

Walden attended City College in New York, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts . He then began his acting career at the theater, and from 1970 he was also seen in film and television. After supporting roles, including in Never Again New York , What You Always Wanted to Know About Sex but Didn't Dare To Ask and The Untouchables , Walden celebrated his breakthrough between 1977 and 1982 with the role of Joe Rossi in the television series Lou Grant , for the he was nominated for an Emmy in 1979, 1980 and 1981 respectively . After the series was discontinued in 1982, he starred in the sitcom Among Brothers from 1984 to 1989 . From 2011 to 2013 he was the father of the main character in the US sitcom Happily Divorced . His work includes more than 70 film and television productions.
