Robert Weber (Author)

Robert Weber (born January 1, 1938 in Pawlowski-Possad , Moscow Oblast , Soviet Union , † 2009 in Augsburg ) was a Russian-German writer and translator .

Life

During the Second World War Robert Weber came to Karabanowo behind the Urals , where he graduated from middle school and then worked as an electrician. He began studying medicine in Moscow , but dropped out after three years. From 1961 to 1966 Weber studied English and German in Moscow . He then worked as a foreign language teacher and published poems and stories in German.

In 2000 Robert Weber moved to Germany. He lived in Augsburg and worked as a writer and translator.
