Robert Wenitsch

Robert Wenitsch (born April 9, 1958 in Vienna ) is an Austrian farmer and politician ( FPÖ / BZÖ ). Wenitsch was a member of the National Council from 1994 to 2002 .

education and profession

After primary and secondary school, Wenitsch attended the commercial school between 1972 and 1973 and the agricultural college in Tulln on the Danube from 1974 to 1976 .

After taking over part of his parents' farm in 1977, he took over the whole farm in 1990 and has been an independent farmer ever since.

politics

Wenitsch was a member of the Weikendorf municipal council from 1995 and local party chairman from 1992. In 1993 he was also elected district party chairman of the FPÖ Gänserndorf . Wenitsch represented the FPÖ between November 7, 1994 and December 19, 2002 in the National Council. At the end of 2002 Wenitsch tried to convene a special party congress of the FPÖ Lower Austria to vote out the top management at the time. After the split in the FPÖ, Wenitsch moved to the BZÖ and ran for 2007 as deputy chairman of the BZÖ Lower Austria.
