Robert von Reder

Wilhelm Robert Heinrich Magnus von Reder (* around 1800 in Sprottau ; † 1869 there ) was a German lawyer and politician . He was district administrator of the Sprottau district (1857–1869) and a member of the Prussian House of Representatives (1855–1858).

Life

Born as the son of the mayor of Sprottau , he studied law in Wroclaw after attending grammar school in Glogau . During his studies in 1820 he became a member of the old Breslau fraternity Arminia . Due to its Burschenschaft union activities, he was in 1822 by the university senate relegated and could allow more study on any German university; In 1824 he was pardoned so that he could finish studying in Breslau. Because of a false testimony from 1821 regarding his membership in a fraternity, he had to serve eight weeks of arrest . After his studies he was in 1834 agriculture and Stadtgerichtsrat and 1846 county court director. As a Privy Councilor , he took over the Sprottau District Office in 1857 until his death. From 1855 to 1858 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives (constituency Liegnitz 4). He was the owner of a manor in Walddorf.
