Max Adler (actor)
Max Adler (born January 17, 1986 in Queens , New York ) is an American actor . He became famous for the role of Dave Karofsky in the television series Glee .
Life
Max Adler was born on January 17, 1986, the first son of Lisa and Doug Adler in Queens, New York. A year after he was born, he and his family moved to Fountain Hills , Arizona , and then to Scottsdale . There he attended Horizon High School , where he was a member of the school choir. After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles to begin his acting career. He has been married to Jennifer Bronstein since December 2015.
Career
After several appearances in smaller productions, Adler got the role of Dave Karofsky in the television series Glee. Since Ryan Murphy , the producer of the series, was very satisfied with Adler's acting performance, he decided that his character will appear more often in the series. When it was revealed that Karofsky was gay, it triggered a lot of reactions, especially on social networks, which were mostly positive. He himself said that he was happy to represent such a large group of people. Adler also received many positive reviews for his acting ability in the Glee episode On My Way , in which his character attempts suicide to commit. The Billboard magazine described his appearance as "heartbreaking".
Max Adler has been an actor at The Porters of Hellsgate Theater in Los Angeles since 2008 , where he appears in several productions. In October 2013 it was reported that he would play the role of Tank in the series Switched at Birth . In 2014 he starred in the movie Believe Me .
