Robert von Wilms

Robert Karl von Wilms (born September 11, 1865 in Berlin ; † March 15, 1945 in Potsdam ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Robert von Wilms studied law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen . In 1886 he became a member of the Corps Saxonia Göttingen . After graduation, doctorate to Dr. jur. and legal clerkship he became a government assessor in the Prussian civil service. In 1901 he became the district administrator of the district Osthavelland appointed.

In 1909 von Wilms switched to the tax administration in Berlin as a member of the government. In 1909 he was transferred to the presidential department of the Potsdam government as a senior councilor . In 1914 he was appointed to the Secret Upper Government Council and was appointed lecturer at the Chamber of Accounts in Potsdam. He remained in this position until his retirement. He was married to Frieda von Goertzke.
