Robin Collyer
Robin Collyer (born March 7, 1949 in London ) is a British - Canadian photographer and sculptor .
life and work
Robin Collyer was born in London and emigrated to Canada in 1957. He graduated from OCAD University in Toronto in the late 1960s . He creates sculptures and photographs.
“Collyer is not interested in registering or imitating actual objects. If he uses industrial materials, standardized finished products, then only to combine them into new, non-functional objects. These structures can sometimes take on monumental proportions. As much as Collyer's sculptures give the impression of completely new constructions, the traces of everyday objects on them cannot be overlooked. "
