Robin Kahn (* 1961 in New York City ) is an American author, concept artist and curator .

life and work

The New York artist Robin Kahn became famous with the interactive installation The Art of Sahrawi Cooking , which was realized at dOCUMENTA (13) in Kassel in 2012 . Robin Kahn developed the concept together with the writer and philosopher Peter Lamborn Wilson , better known under the pseudonym Hakim Bey. Kirby Gookin and Edi Escobar provided the photographic support.

The women’s organization La Cooperativa Unidad Nacional Mujeres Saharauis and the Western Sahara conflict should be brought to the attention of the visitors through the work.
