Vytenis Tomkus

Vytenis Tomkus (born March 1, 1980 in Kaišiadorys ) is a Lithuanian conservative politician and business lawyer , mayor of the Kaišiadorys district since 2015 .

Life

From 1988 to 1998 Vytenis Tomkus graduated from the 1st secondary school in Kaišiadory and from 1988 to 1994 trained at the city's children's music school. From 1998 to 2002 he completed the bachelor's degree in administration at the Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas in Kaunas and from 1999 to 2002 the Stasys-Raštikis - Military School of Lithuania and in 2002 became a lieutenant . From 2002 to 2005 he completed his master's degree in commercial law at the legal institute of Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas. From 2006 to 2007 he completed his master's degree in law at the Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas.

In 2003 Tomkus worked as a customer advisor and from 2004 administrative manager of the credit institute of the Diocese of Kaišiadorys ( Kaišiadorių kredito unija ). In 2005 he was a member of a commission of the Association of Lithuanian Credit Institutions ( Lietuvos centrinė kredito unija , LCKU). From 2009 he worked as a lawyer and from 2010 he headed a sub-department at LCKU in Kaunas. In local elections in Lithuania in 2015 he became mayor.

Tomkus is a TS-LKD member.

family

Tomkus is married. He and his wife Miglė, a biotechnologist, have a daughter, Saulė.
