Roslyn Harbor is a village in Nassau County , New York in the USA . The place is considered part of Greater Roslyn, the focus of which is the village of Roslyn . In 2010 the place had 1051 inhabitants. With the Cedarmere-Clayton Estates , the place has a historic district listed on the National Register of Historic Places , which includes the original estate of William Cullen Bryant . Lloyd Bryce later bought part of the property and set up his own residence here. The dying Henry Clay Frick finally acquired this for his son Childs Frick , who lived there until the end of his life.
The village is located in the towns of Oyster Bay and North Hempstead . Therefore, the respective parts of Roslyn Harbor belong to the Roslyn School District and the North Shore School District.

Roslyn Harbor is east of Hempstead Harbor , a long bay that extends south from the northern shores of Long Island. The northeast of the village belongs to the Town of Oyster Bay, the greater part is within the Town of Hempstead. North and northeast of Roslyn Harbor are the towns of Glenwood Landing and Glen Head . To the southeast, on New York State Route 25A , which runs west to east on the southern periphery of Roslyn Harbors, is Greenvale , and further to the southwest is Roslyn .
With New York City Roslyn Harbor is indirect by rail via the Long Iceland Railroad connected, the nearest holding station is located in Greenvale.
Demographics
At the time of the 2000 United States Census, Roslyn Harbor was inhabited by 1,023 people. The population density was 331.9 people per km ². There were 367 housing units at an average of 119.1 per km ². The Roslyn Harbor population was 91.59% White , 1.27% Black or African American , 0% Native American , 4.99% Asian , 0% Pacific Islander , 1.08% said they were racial , and 1 , 08% named two or more races. 3.32% of the population declared to be Hispanic or Latino of any race.
