Robin Neillands

Robin Neillands (pseudonyms: Robin Hunter, Rob Hunter, Neil Lands and Debbie Hunter ) (born December 3, 1935 in Glasgow , † January 30, 2006 ) was a British author.

Life

After serving as a conscript with the Royal Marine Commando in Cyprus and the Middle East, Neillands worked as a seller for the Imprint Pan Books , which enabled him to travel to Australia, the Far East and South America. In the UK he founded Spur Books and published his travel guides for France. In the late 1980s he became interested in history. One of his novels, the thriller The Fourth Angel (1985), was made into a film with Jeremy Irons and Charlotte Rampling in the leading roles.
