The Dallas Rattlers are a lacrosse team based in Frisco, Texas . From the 2001 to 2008 season and since 2011 they have been playing in the Major League Lacrosse (MLL).
history
Rochester Rattlers
In 2001 and 2002 the team played its home games on Frontier Field. They then played on the sports field at Bishop Kearney High School from 2003 to 2005 until they moved to Sahlen's Stadium in 2006 . In 2004 they won the National Division championship. A special game for the Rattlers took place on June 16, 2007 against the Denver Outlaws. They won 27:26 and thus reached the new record of the highest final result in the history of the MLL. In 2009 the team with employees and players was sold to Toronto , Canada , where it was named Toronto Nationals (later: Hamilton Nationals ). In 2011 Chicago Machine was relocated to Rochester, where he competed as the Rochester Rattlers.
Dallas Rattlers
In November 2017, the league announced the relocation of the franchise to Frisco , a suburb of Dallas . For the 2018 season they should compete there under the name Dallas Rattlers. Bill Warder was announced as the new coach. The home games are played in the Ford Center at The Star, which is also used as the training facility for the Dallas Cowboys .
