Rocksprings is a city (City) and seat of the county seat of Edwards County in the US state of Texas in the United States .
The place with 60% of the county's population at the intersection of US377 with TX55 is also the only one in the county that has an entry in the National Register of Historic Places with the courthouse .
The city got its name from natural springs gushing out of porous limestone rocks.
South of the city along TX55 is the county's airport.
