Rockworld TV was a British television station that specialized in music and tried to cover the so-called underground .

The station was broadcast by Sky Digital on channel 378 and could also be received on the Internet. Although the station was officially broadcast only from 6 p.m. to the morning, the program space could otherwise be viewed from excerpts from the program, which were only occasionally interrupted by teleshopping programs . The station was broadcast 24 hours a day.

Rockworld TV showed various concert videos by popular metal bands , but also music from the black scene , including Machine Head , Nightwish , Killing Joke , Electric Eel Shock and Pitchshifter . Interviews were also broadcast. Some concerts were also recorded at music festivals such as the Bulldog Bash .

In addition to the music program, cartoons and animes such as Cromartie High School and Gilgamesh ' , the amateur horror show Dave Vanian ’s Dark Screen and the fetish show Peek-A-Boo were also broadcast. Jane Gazzo and Lenore were the presenters of the station .

Rockworld TV was the successor to Redemption TV , which aired on the Musicians Channel in 2005.

On November 18, 2009, Rockworld TV was withdrawn from Sky Digital's programming. On December 18, 2009, the station was broadcast on Sky EPG, but the program was shortened to two hours and was only intended as a placeholder. In February 2000, the station then switched to Alexander Poultney Limited. The last broadcast was on March 29, 2010. Then Lava TV , a music broadcaster that specializes in indie and alternative rock , took over the broadcast slot.
