Rod Perry
Rod Perry (born July 30, 1941 in Coatesville , Pennsylvania ) is an American actor .
Life
Perry made his feature film debut in Philippine Drama The Evil Within alongside Dev Anand . In 1974 and 1975 he starred in two blaxploitation films, The Black Godfather and The Black Gestapo . Between 1975 and 1976 he was a member of the regular cast of the television series The Knallharten Five , in which he played Sergeant David "Deacon" Kay . After the series was canceled, his acting career stalled and he only had sporadic guest appearances on television series. In 2003 he had a cameo appearance in the feature film adaptation SWAT - Die Spezialeinheit .
Perry is the father of the singer DeQn Sue .
