Roderick Briffa (born August 24, 1981 in Valletta ) is a Maltese national football player .

Briffa began playing football at local football clubs in Valletta, from where he moved to FC Birkirkara . There he was twice Maltese master . In the 2001/02 season he was loaned to the Pietà Hotspurs for one season . In the summer of 2007 he went to the Sliema Wanderers , where he completed two successful seasons. In the summer of 2009 he moved to Valletta FC . After a total of eight years in Valletta, he moved on to Gzira United in the summer of 2017 . Since August 2019 he has been playing for Birkirkara again.

The defender played his first international match for the national team of Malta in 2001. On November 17, 2018, he played his 100th international match in the Nations League match against Kosovo . However, these games include a game against the U-21 team of the Republic of Moldova, which FIFA does not count. He scored his only international goal to date against the Czech Republic in qualifying for the 2014 World Cup .
