Rodrigo Archubi

Rodrigo Archubi (born June 6, 1985 in Remedios de Escalada ) is an Argentine football player .

The midfielder began his career in 2003 at CA Lanús in the Primera División . With Lanús he reached the quarterfinals of the 2006 Copa Sudamericana . In 2007 he went to Olympiacos , with whom he won the Greek Supercup . In early 2008 he returned to Argentina and joined River Plate . With the club he won the Clausura and was Argentine champion. In September 2009 he was tested positive in a doping control and then banned for three months. After his suspension, he first went to the Brazilian fourth division team Juventude and then to Kazma SC in Kuwait. In 2012 he returned to Argentina to Boca Unidos in the Nacional B . In early 2013 he moved to the third division Sportivo Italiano , with whom he made promotion to the Nacional B.

In 2005 Archubi took part in the Junior World Cup . He played three games and was Junior World Champion together with Pablo Zabaleta , Fernando Gago , Sergio Agüero and Lionel Messi .
