Rodrigo Hasbun
Rodrigo Hasbún (born 1981 in Cochabamba ) is a Bolivian writer.
Life
Rodrigo Hasbún studied journalism in Bolivia and in 2003/2004 in Santiago de Chile . From 2009 he worked at Cornell University in Ithaca (NY) and received his doctorate there. In 2013 he lived in Toronto and since then in Houston , Texas.
Hasbún published his first novel El lugar del cuerpo in 2007 . He has been repeatedly referred to as a promising young author. His historical novel Los afectos (2015) deals with the life of the German-Bolivian social revolutionary Monika Ertl .
