Roger Froment
Roger Marie Albert Froment (born February 15, 1928 in Maleville , Aveyron Department , † February 9, 2006 ) was a French Roman Catholic priest who was Bishop of Tulle between 1985 and 1996 .
Life
Froment was ordained a priest on June 29, 1952. On June 20, 1985, he was appointed Bishop of Tulle to succeed Jean-Baptiste Brunon and was ordained episcopal on September 15, 1985 by his predecessor and his co- consecrators, Roger Joseph Bourrat , Bishop of Rodez , and the Archbishop of Bordeaux , Marius- Félix-Antoine Maziers .
Froment held the office of Bishop of Tulle until October 22, 1996 and was then replaced by Patrick Le Gal .
